Bobby Kerr, CEO of Insomnia was the keynote speaker on the day and presented the overall Youth Entrepreneur of the year Award to teenager Aindriú O Fearáil (aged 16) from Colaiste Mhuire, Thurles, County Tipperary. The dynamic entrepreneur won the prize for his company called ‘Stress Busters’ which designs and manufacturers a unique stress busting doll marketed as a fun and effective way to beat recession anxiety.

The event kicked off at 10am with a student trade fair where 20 businesses showcased their products to the attending guests. All were impressed with the quality and variety of products displayed. Businesses/products showcased and honoured at the event included decorated handbags, Easter chocolates, handmade cards, a website design business, fancy jewellery boxes, wishing wing angels, a profit making talent show and a stress busting doll marketed as a fun way to beat recession anxiety.

After graduation the students and guests were treated to a different kind of showcase - Genesis a 10 piece dance troupe from Dublin took to the stage and wowed the audience with their funky street dance and energy. The Cuban All Stars also performed at the event.
